here's a picture of my good friend sofie from sweden. i met her my junior year of high school when i spent six months there. she is such a fun and sweet girl and a very wonderful friend. i love her so much!!

i have been friends with this girl since first grade, we were in the same class from first until sixth grade and went to the same high school. we have lots of memories of riding horses, dr. sparky and professor sprite, our guide to universal knowledge, chickenwire hats, bachel witch project, and the (imaginary) world under the playground. we still enjoy a good adventure together whenever possible |

grennaskolan--gränna, sweden
this was my class at grennaskolen, the boarding school i attended for 6 months during high school. my closest friends were sofie (second row, second from the right), josie (second row, second from the left--although she eventually turned out to be crazy and cancelled our friendships), calle (back row, second from left), marcus (to the right of him), robert (to the right of marcus), sebastian (back row fourth from the right), and pelle (front row on the left next to me). |

baroness brooke and princess sofie!
baroness brooke and princess sofie of ladonia! for those of you not familiar with the country of ladonia, it is a small (perhaps half a mile or so) "country" in southern sweden and to which we claim citizenship. it's somewhat difficult to explain, but a brilliant/crazy artist fought with the swedish government to establish his own country and collects drift wood and such to build giant works of art/tunnels that you can climb and play around in! sofie and i went there on one adventure.

here are some of my friends in sweden: pelle, sofie, and marcus. they are graduating from grennaskolan in granna sweden. instead of our weird four cornered caps, they get sailor hats. how cool is that??? then they walk through the streets and people put things around their necks. |
