immediate family includes my brother bjorn (17 years old, 6'2", and weighs over two bills!...clearly i take advantage of this in the form of brooke protection unless i am fighting him myself...then i am on my own), my mum helga, and my dad peter. my mum was born in chile to german parents and my dad lived in sweden until he came to college in the u.s. my dad and brother live out in the country and my mum lives in "the big city"--HA! riiight

me and my "little" brother
i remember the night this kid was born. now he's a giant. every time i see him he is like 4 inches taller. or else his hair is 4 inches longer. the days of controlling him by force are over, my friend. ff you can't beat 'em, join 'em, i always say...hehe. please note the "bjorn's #1 fan shirt" i'm sporting--kelly made one too. i love my brother!!

some of the cousins
spring break 2005, my dad, brother and i traveled to sweden for a huge family reunion with all his siblings and all of their kids. we rented a large cabin in the mountains and went skiing for a week. here i am with some of the cousins--linnea, kristalina, nanya, and oliver. the cabin was a madhouse!! we had 30 smarses staying there--out of control, and yet soo much fun! |
my cousin martin and me
he's just a couple months older than me, and we've always been great pals. the summer after 3rd grade i spent two months with him and his family in sweden, and he came to visit several times as well. he just recently got engaged...wow...but she's fabulous too
